Hi, I’m Liang Bing, and I help students hack Chemistry the fun way!
I’ve always had a knack for Chemistry—back in secondary school, I was the go-to person for helping my friends. But when I got to JC, everything changed. What are the lesson fees?
All lessons are 2 hours long and our lesson feesare as follows:
Secondary 1-2: From $60
Secondary 3-5: From $70
JC: From $90
Fees are subject to an additional charge of $10 per lesson for single-subject enrolment.
Do you offer 1-1 tuition?
No, at Occra, our tutors firmly believe that group classes are highly effective in helping you secure an A for in your exams. Instead of 1-1 lessons, we offer 1-1 consults for students who need additional support at no additional charge, subject to the tutor’s availability.
Students are also welcome to meet teachers before or after lessons for free consults.Do you provide your own materials?
Yes, we provide detailed notes and summaries for all our students. Our highly curated materials are updated annually by our team of tutors to align with the latest MOE syllabus requirements.
Additionally, we provide worksheets and exam papers because we firmly believe that practice makes perfect.Best of all, all materials are included in the lesson fees with no extra charges!
Are there make up classes if students miss lessons?
Students unable to attend lessons for any reason can join a make-up session within the same week, subject to availability. However, frequent class changes are discouraged as they may hinder the student's learning progress.
For students who cannot attend any lessons during the week, a consult with our tutors can be arranged to cover the missed lesson material.
Kindly note that lesson fees are non-refundable if students miss both regular lessons and make-up sessions.
How do I sign up for lessons?
Send us a WhatsApp message at 8116 7988, and let our friendly staff know which subject(s) you are interested in.
We will assist you in arranging a trial lesson to allow us to assess the student’s needs and determine the best class placement.When are the lessons held?
After the trial lesson, our tutors will assign you the most suitable class based on your needs and schedule!
Please note that we may open new time slots if there is enough demand.
